We require a non refundable booking fee of £100 upon booking. Please contact us to arrange payment.
Please note the booking fee is to secure the date, leaving us unable to fulfil that date with any other couples, plus admin costs, this is why it is not refundable.
Full payment must be made at least one month before the date of the ceremony. Failure to pay may result in cancellation.
If you wish to cancel, this must be sent to us in writing no later than one month before the wedding.
In this case, if you have paid in full, we will refund your payment, minus the £100 booking fee.
If you have paid in full and wish to cancel with less than 30 days notice, then we regret we are unable to offer you a refund.
With a standard hire you get up to 4 hours which usually allows plenty of time for photos. If on the day you require extra time, please note this must be agreed with your driver and is charged at £75 an hour, which is only payable in cash directly to the driver on the day.
The maximum number of passengers is 5, this may be less depending on the size of the dress and passengers.
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property whilst using our van.
In the event of breakages/spillages/body or panel damage to the van due to negligence by the hirer or the hirer’s party, then the hirer is liable for all costs.
As the vans are over 50 years old, rear seatbelts are not required by law. Children under 18 travel at their own risk and must be accompanied by an adult. The vans are not suitable for children who need a booster/travel seat, or children under 3 years old.
We cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused by any accidents which may take place, whether our fault, or a third party.
Please ensure you fill out the booking form accurately, we will not be responsible for missed or delayed collection due to incorrect information provided.
We regularly maintain our vans to the highest standard to ensure they are as reliable as possible. However, they are 50+ old vehicles and sometimes the unforeseen can happen.
We cannot take responsibility for unforeseen circumstances or conditions which may result in delay/cancellation/change of vehicle. This includes mechanical/electrical breakdown or adverse weather.
If the van breaks down before the ceremony we will try our best to get it repaired immediately. If this is not possible we will transfer the hirer to another vehicle (not necessarily a vintage VW). We will cover any reasonable costs incurred. If we are unable to arrange alternative transport a full refund will be given, including the deposit.
If the vehicle breaks down after the ceremony (before the reception) we will refund £100.

The White Van Wedding Company is fully insured.
