Christmas cushions and more...
Updated: May 10
I'd like to introduce you again to one of my oldest friends Estelle Bilson. She is one of the original creators behind the successful Trip Out motorbike & car show, and Born Bitchin Clothing Company. Cool as, huh?!
Well these days Estelle has moved far far away to Manchester and has been busying herself with a new project Estelle Bilson Creative.
She designs and makes very limited numbers of retro/vintage/kitsch inspired homewares. At the moment it is mainly cushions, but you can also purchase stools and the most beautiful mid century style planters.
Check out the website https://www.estellebilsoncreative.co.uk/ for her current range of brightly coloured Christmas cushions based on 1950s/60s/70s wrapping paper and decorations. Brings back happy memories of Christmasses past at my nan & grandads house! (Incidentally, the mice got hold of nan's stash of awesome vintage decorations, completely destroyed, so sad!
Be warned, as I said, numbers are limited so if you see something you like, don't wait, these are very exclusive products, not mass produced.
Estelle also takes on commissions of all sorts, so if you have an idea in mind, drop her a line and she may be able to knock you up something bespoke, previous makes have included a giant bright pink prawn cushion. I personally own a few of her products and can vouch for the extremely good quality of workmanship. These are all handmade in Manchester, not China!
Have a looksie at her Instagram too, the prawn is there. https://www.instagram.com/estellebilsoncreative/
